Project Challenge

Objective
Our aim was to create a platform for the NGO Every Child Is My Child that reflected the commitment of two Italian actors, Anna Foglietta and Andrea Bosca, in helping hundreds of children by building schools and recreational centers. The goal is to develop an elegant, precise, and user-friendly platform, with the aim of facilitating user donations.

Design Approach

Colors
Color Selection
The color palette is crafted to evoke certain emotions and guide user actions. The primary color, white (#FFFFFF), creates a clean and uncluttered backdrop, emphasizing content and facilitating focus on critical elements like donation buttons. The secondary color, charcoal (#202020), provides contrast, essential for text readability and conveying the platform’s serious dedication. The tertiary red introduces energy and urgency, stimulating action, while the accent orange radiates warmth, encourages user interaction, and symbolizes optimism.
 
Font
Font Selection
Typography is selected to complement the sleek design and enhance user experience. Roboto Condensed is the primary font, chosen for its modern lines and space efficiency, crucial for displaying information succinctly. Arial, as a secondary font, offers universal recognition and ensures consistent content delivery across different platforms. Roboto is used for body text to keep a consistent and smooth visual flow, facilitating easy navigation and readability.
Our Methodology
To achieve the goals of ECIMC, we adopted a design approach that emphasized the donation form, allowing users to see that they can donate easily and quickly. We also focused on creating a customizable fundraising experience for all the projects that the NGO will carry forward over time. Moreover, we have provided a notice board where all the events proposed by the NGO will be visible, and it will be possible to download them onto one’s calendar.

The Solution

The Final Result
The result is an astonishing website that makes donating easy, secure, and fast. All this facilitates user interaction and customization of donations at will, whether towards a specific project or in a general manner. The entire site has been developed with smart and responsive features that streamline the loading process for the most active users.
